As a Senior Specialist, Infrastructure you will be working in challenging projects within the datacenter services. You will be responsible for the service development, roadmap and documentation within your own responsibility area. You also provide second level support to service desk and other IT teams. Ensuring datacenter system availabilities are things you weekly focus on. Your key contacts are colleagues in Shared IT organization and external IT Service providers, consultants and vendors.
Fazer on-premise datacenter operations are currently running on VMware environment and cloud services mostly in Microsoft Azure. We are using both Windows and Linux servers and our database services are mostly running on Microsoft SQL Server. While currently we are mostly operating in an on-premises environment, we are constantly evaluating potential areas where cloud utilization could be increased. Our infrastructure specialists are also seen as a crucial part of the information security organization. We aim to high level of automation within datacenter operations e.g. by heavily using PowerShell scripting language, SCCM and Puppet.

We expect you to have at least five years of experience in datacenter operations. Your strengths include broad skills in datacenter technical operations both on-premise and in the cloud. Previous experience regarding datacenter cloud transformation and architecture, as well as information security, is seen as an asset. Resilience, problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise are needed in this position. Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English and Finnish are mandatory, Swedish and Russian language skills are considered as an asset. Your professionalism is based on a Bachelors’ degree in computer science or other relevant field (or corresponding knowledge gained through practical experience).
