As Marketing Director, Foodtech, you are responsible for developing all the Fazer Foodtech products and the brand values to drive sales and profit growth in line with Fazer Foodtech strategy and targets. Your accountabilities span market insights and analysis, category strategy and development, brand building, marketing strategy, communication development, portfolio strategy, innovation, product and packaging development as well as ultimate responsibility for the marketing strategy of new portfolio via joint ventures, start-ups or portfolio extension. You are also responsible for leading, managing, coaching and developing the whole Foodtech marketing organisation as it evolves. You will interact closely with Fazer Foodtech commercial teams to develop country, region and product specific strategies that fit with market expectations. Internal communication will also be key in order to develop the Foodtech portfolio within the wider Fazer organisation.
In this role you will report to the Head of Foodtech Business Unit. You will be located in either Lahti or Vantaa, Finland or in Stockholm, Sweden and be ready to travel regularly.

You have extensive experience from building industry and market strategies within the ingredients sector with a passion for concept and brand development, and a proven track record of successful development and launch of new concepts and products across diverse industries. Your mindset is creative and innovative, with a feel for current trends and tendencies and a strong interest in food.
You are experienced with people and team leadership and have strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills. You have an ability to create, develop and inspire a modern marketing organization with exceptional focus on bridging market back data through to innovations. You are well-organised, thorough, and have strong execution skills. Your excellent analytical capabilities are combined with a pragmatic way of utilizing market and consumer insights as well as have an ability to turn them into commercial solutions. You have strong business orientation with in-depth commercial understanding and business acumen. You are able to take consumer wishes to ingredients portfolio and onto successful launches with B2B customers. Excellent communication skills in English are mandatory in this position, as well as good presentation skills. Nordic language skills are an asset, but not essential.
We expect you to have minimum 10 years’ experience of working in a senior marketing management position within the ingredients sector with responsibility for people, targets and budget. Your professionalism is based on a master’s degree in a suitable field.
