Financial Communications Manager

We are looking for a Financial Communications Manager to join Fazer’s Group Communications team, based in Vantaa. The  Manager Financial Communication will have responsibility to support the EVP, Communications and Sustainability in developing and delivering the financial communication activities driven by the financial calendar.

Role & Responsibility

• Works in partnership with the EVP, Communications & Sustainability and in co-operation with the finance department to develop the quarterly and yearly financial communication activities
• Assists to draft and edit financial communication materials including interim reports, news releases, presentations, talking points and social media posts
• Leads the annual review (including sustainability report) creation and publication
• Manages the Fazer Group website in cooperation with other members of the communications team
• Reviews and facilitates approval of all financial communication activities and ensures adherence to company policies and procedures and Brand guidelines
• Partners with the Communication and PR team for financial press releases and media monitoring
• Identifies and develops appropriate agency and third-party partnerships to help Fazer create an effective communication infrastructure and achieve desired outcomes
• Maintains budget oversight for key agency relationships and other key vendors
• Measures communications effectiveness

What you’ll bring to the team?

• A suitable academic degree, preferably in finance, accounting or communications
• Experience Required: 3-5 years in financial communication
• Good understanding of financial reports and accounting
• Expertise in event organization and print communication
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Finnish, at least conversational skills in Swedish
• Excellent project management and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Experience working in a public company is a plus
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build teamwork and trust
• Positive attitude and willingness to embrace change
